Very clean property with lovely views across the lake. We arrived at the property late at night. having had no time to stop at a supermarket so it would have been nice to see a small welcome pack with some tea/coffee, milk and bread (or similar) to help us settle in to the property (it was nice that the owner gave us a bottle of wine!).
Lovely villa, everything you could need, beautiful garden and pool. Quiet location with lovely views. Mara was very helpful and cooked us a lovely meal
very friendly and accommodating host. property was clean and well equipped. facilities were a high standard. very much enjoyed our family stay. beautiful scenery and view from our villa.
Ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem tollen Garten . Es war sehr gepflegt und wir wurden von den Besitzern herzlich empfangen. Lediglich das Geräusch der Holzwürmer im Gebälk hat in einem der Schlafzimmer die Nachtruhe etwas gestört. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in wundervollem Ambiente. Die Unterkunft war grundsätzlich einfach, aber das hat super gepasst! Der Pool mit seinem Ausblick war einfantastischer Platz mit sehr guter Atmosphäre - so wie man sich Toskana vorstellt! Die Dame an der Rezeption war auch sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Für Abwechslung hat auch die Tischtennisplatte gesorgt. Poggibonsi ist ein nettes kleines Städtchen - wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem liebevoll und gepflegten Anwesen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a wonderful time in a wonderful ambience. The accommodation was basically simple, but it was perfect! The pool with its view was a fantastic place with a very good atmosphere - just like you imagine Tuscany to be! The lady at reception was also very helpful and friendly. The table tennis table also provided a change of pace. Poggibonsi is a nice little town - we felt very comfortable in this lovely and well-kept property.
I don’t know where to begin! The house and grounds are as or even more beautiful in real life. The location is great if you like getting out on country roads and visiting different hilltop towns and other sites. There’s even an adorable cat (Tigre) that greets you at the gate and visits you for attention and pets. But the real magic of this place is Cristina and Giuseppe. They are so gracious and so kind and we all felt immediately so comfortable when we arrived. Cristina was always there to help us with whatever we needed, she even came to our rescue with Giuseppe when our rental car needed more air in its tire. They both went above and beyond for us at every turn and did so with an attitude of abundance and grace. Don’t miss the chance to eat their cooking—we had one dinner and daily breakfasts with them and they were all superb and memorable. Cristina’s homemade croissants, olive oil cake, and Giuseppe’s tiramisu will live forever in my memory. We just might have to come back :)
