Frankly speaking, when we picked Borgo San Vincenti and invited friends around the world to come and meet us there, our heart was skipping a beat until we got there (especially after paying the full amount and having passed the "point of no return")! Actually, it's not entirely true since communication with Milena ahead of our arrival allayed lots of hesitancy. So we get there, and from day 1 till the end we were emphatic (all 17 of us, all 9 families) that the place was gorgeous, the surroundings were heavenly and the Milena... well: Milena was a queen in her own right. She made everything easy, every meal succulent, every request fulfilled. So we whole-heartedly not only recommend Milena and the Borgo to friends (which we started doing) we are planning to come back at some point with 20 other friends in a couple of years.
If I had to make a small comment it's the mattresses: maybe some people like them to sag, I prefer them much firmer.

Der Zugang ist recht beschwerlich über Steintreppen, das Esszimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Terrasse war verschlossen und nicht verfügbar. Es gab weder TV- und Rundfunkempfang, Wifi und Internet funktionierte nicht, es gab keinen Mobilfunkempfang in der Mühle
The house was charming and comforatble...real country living. The setting in the hills of Tuscany was beautiful. Maurizio was very nice and helpful. We hopel to return one day.
Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und es war im April relativ kalt. Sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Vermieter: Paolo hat den Pool für unsere Jungs schon auf gemacht, was wirklich eine tolle Geste war. Auch unsere Hunde waren willkommen und wir hatten ein sicheres Gefühl, sie im eingezäunten Garten toben zu lassen. Das Haus selbst ist einfach eingerichtet. Geschirrtücher und Seife waren nicht da, aber das kann man ja mitbringen oder vor Ort besorgen. Der Kamin und der Grill haben wunderbar funktioniert. Auch die Gasheizung (Extrakosten beachten!) war super, es wurde schnell warm und gemütlich. Der Garten ist gepflegt. Die Nachbarn waren ziemlich laut, denn sie haben Ostern gefeiert, was ja total legitim ist. Sie sind nicht immer da. Im Sommer finden scheinbar früh morgens schon Holzarbeiten statt, haben wir dem Gästebuch entnommen. Also nichts für Langschläfer. Aber man will ja schließlich was unternehmen. Wir haben viele Orte in der Gegend besucht. Direkt vor Ort ist es sehr ländlich und nicht touristisch, man muss etwas fahren, um die Attraktionen zu besuchen. Die Toskana ist wunderschön.
Villa accogliente, con tutti i confort. Letti comodi , pulizia ottima. Posizione strategica. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. La consiglio! Pasqua 2023 top!
Schöne Ferienwohnung inmitten typischer Toskanalandschaft mit Fernblick auf Siena.
Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Gastgeber.
Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht.
Comfortable villa in lovely setting - perfect for our family of four plus our dog. Villa was very clean and well-maintained and hosts were very responsive.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.
Sternabzug gibt es für wenig Sauberkeit in Küche und Bad. Außerdem funktionierte der Backofen nicht. Aber wir kamen klar.
Die Lage ist super und es war schön ruhig.
