Les points positifs : très belle maison, grande et bien située (à quelques km -moins de 10- de la mer). Une vue à couper le souffle. Une piscine rien que pour nous. Le personnel très accueillant, à l'écoute. Les points négatifs : équipement était un peu juste en cuisine (manque de casseroles, de poëlles, de couverts, pas de séchoir à linge). La 3ème chambre (sous les combles) : impossible d'y dormir car trop chaud et pas de rideau ou store sur une fenêtre, donc trop de lumière très tôt le matin et donc, pas de grasse matinée. Nous avons évoqué ces points à la personne qui nous a accueillis, elle en a bien pris note. Si ces points négatifs sont résolus, c'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons l'été prochain.

Das große Haus liegt auf einem schönen Privatgrundstück auf einer Anhöhe mit wunderbarem Fernblick. Auch bei großer Hitze wehte dort stets ein angenehm leichtes Lüftchen. Die Ausstattung ist gut, alle Geräte voll funktionsfähig. Alle Fenster sind mit Fliegengittern versehen und bieten Schutz vor Insekten. Allerdings sollte man sich nachts mit Autan gegen Mückenstiche schützen, denn die Plagegeister gibt es trotzdem in den Zimmern. Beide Toiletten verfügen über Bidets. Die Betten sind bequem und sehr groß. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und spricht sowohl Italienisch als auch Englisch. Insgesamt ein schöner Ort um erholsame Ferien zu verbringen.

My wife and I have stayed here (travelling from Australia) and had a magnificent stay. The property is only 40 minutes from Florence and is set on a hillside farm above the village of Dicomano. The accomodation is very high quality with all of the conveniences you'll need including the huge swimming offering spectacular views.
From this location you can make day easy day trips to the major tourist destinations e.g. Sienna and Chianti. The hosts are the most friendly people, surprising us on a couple of occasions with pastries from the local bakery and wood fired pizza.

Torre a Cona is a beautiful property and more than met our expectations. If you want the charm of rural Tuscany and yet convenient access to Florence, this is the place to stay. The staff was outstanding. They were always helpful and friendly and never forgot a detail.

Het huis is ideaal om met kleine kinderen te verblijven. Alles is op de gelijkvloers, en een paar kleine afstapjes naar de tuin toe. Het deel voor privé gebruik is volledig afgesloten, zodat de kinderen niet zomaar naar het zwembad kunnen lopen. De grote tuin is heel aangenaam, het zwembad wordt elke dag schoongemaakt en is zonder chloor. Het huis is heel koel en er zijn twee overdekte parkeerplaatsen. Eten kan zowel in de zon als onder de pergola. De eigenaars zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We zijn zonder problemen vroeger mogen inchecken en later mogen vertrekken en mochten van alles onbeperkt gebruik maken. Het was echt een heel aangenaam verblijf!
Enige minpunt: huis was bij aankomst niet echt grondig gekuist.
