Sehr ruhig gelegenes Haus, nur von Olivenbäumen und Weinreben umgeben. Perfekt wenn man die Ruhe sucht! Schöner sauberer Pool. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, schönes Bad. Nur bei Sat TV hatten wir keine deutschen Sender.
We had a fabulous week at captannina it is set in a wonderful location you have to go there to appreciate it the owners could not have been more helpful in every way from organising a taxi to offering fresh eggs it is a working vineyard and olive grove but they always had time to talk with us and give information on the area .
This was an amazing place , a jewel in Tuscany. The apartment was lovely for 2 people with all the necessary amenities. with real character. The pool was divine in a stunning setting.The restaurant , although small had excellent service and was very friendly, the food delicious and the price fantastic. We will be going back there for sure.
abgelegenes, ruhiges und eingezäuntes Haus für 2 Familien; großer Pool mit großer Wiese (sollten beide in kürzeren Abständen gepflegt werden), Zufahrt relativ flach, auch ohne SUV gut erreichbar!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Secluded, quiet and enclosed house for 2 families; large pool with a large lawn (both should be maintained at shorter intervals). The access road is quite flat, easily accessible also without SUV!
Potentially great villa/rooms/pool etc.
EQUIPPED VERY POORLY!
- No pool beds (delivered a week later);
- Kitchen: no (or very little) bowls, water cooker, cooking-cutlery etc.
Communication with caretakers almost impossible and very frustrating. Italian helpdesk not much (we let it go after our first contact).
Poor information on electricity/gas etc.costs. Approx. 400,= for 4 weeks.
The villa was spotless and well equipt. The bedrooms were spacious and had much welcomed air conditioning. We didn't do much sightseeing as the villa was such a peaceful haven, but its location was just a short drive to both Lucca and Pisa. A really lovely villa set in beautiful grounds which surpassed our expectations.
Nous avons passé une semaine délicieuse dans un environnement plein de charme comme on peut imaginer et rêver la Toscane. L’hôtesse est charmante et cherche à vous faire plaisir. Cependant la cuisine à l'étage est un handicap et empêche de profiter du Jardin et de ses plaisirs pour déjeuner ou diner le soir au retour des visites. Un point d'amélioration
La présence d'une solution WIFI d'accès permanent nous semble également aujourd'hui un point primordial.
Liegenschaft entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Top gepflegtes Anwesen sowohl im wie ausserhalb des Hauses. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat uns sogar mit Produkten aus seinem eigenen Garten verwöhnt. nach einer Woche wurde sogar das Haus gereinigt und die Wäsche ausgetauscht!

Villa Il Nido is very well taken care of and the owners are nice and helpful. The view from the hill is magnificent. The linving room/kitchen floor is large and works nicely for a larger group, too, as well as the patio. We stayed with a family of five and enjoyed our two weeks a lot.
