This villa was just as promised. There were two bedrooms each with it's own bathroom. The washer was great as we packed less clothes. The kitchen was well stocked and the convection oven made wonderful pizza. The pool was pristeen. The grounds well kept. There was a pastry shop within a few minutes walking distance. The hill town of Singalunga was charming. Market day was Tuesday, fruit and vegetables, clothes and leather goods - a shoppers dream. A restaurant within five minutes walking distance was so good. We ate at The Grotto twice, I cannot begin to describe the wonderful food and friendly staff. Singalunga is a great village, we bought groceries and wine at local grocery stores. We walked to the train station and took the local trains to other hill towns. Very easy and fun. The owner of our villa lived on site and was very helpful. We are going back next year. Such a gorgeous villa. I almost did not want to rave so much about this villa because maybe too many people will want to go. I will have to reserve our week soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse immensely. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy and the Tuscany area. The owner, Jane Cucini, was the perfect host. The villa was five star accomodation in a ten star location. A very minor incovenience was not having a washing machine however this was overcome by using the laundromat next to the supermarket while we bought our groceries.

Great location! Steps from the Duomo, restaurants, sites, etc. Wonderful check in/check out experience. Lots of mosquitoes which left several bites if windows were left open...could have been time of year.

We had a great time at Villa Pedone. Its location is great just outside Lucca and the villa itself was wonderful with great outdoor eating area and wonderful views. Out housekeeper AnnMarie prepared great meals for us. She made our stay even more memorable.

The views from the villa are breathtaking. The house is charming, well-equipped, and very clean. The infinity pool and patio area were wonderful places to relax and eat. The only drawback is the treacherous road to the property. The Amalfi coast is known for its narrow and curvy roads, but the final 1/2 mile to the house from the main road is extreme. It is so narrow we had to fold in the side mirrors. It is quite steep with hairpin turns. Our Peugeot hatchback, diesel engine, barely made it. If you are not fearful of the drive, it is a great property.

The villa was much better than expected - i can only say that the photos don't do it justice. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and pivate with fantastic views. To the right is the valley and to the left you look up the hill to Volterra. We stayed there in September the sun set behind the church - stunning!
The 1500m to Volterra was up a very steep hill! Unlit most of the way so take a good torch. Better instructions on how to find the villa needed.
Absolutely to recommend. We will probably return ourselves.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The property was extremely clean, and well kept. The property is very private which is exactly what we wanted. The owner was absolutely fantastic! She was always available for anything and provided more than enough information upon arrival. We would definitely return!!

We felt both "at home" and "locals" during our stay in Suite. Our unit "Riddell" had everything one needs: a nice living room with integrated kitchen (nicely stocked), a beautiful garden (shared with the other apartments) and spacious bed rooms. It was not luxurious, but we were neither looking nor expecting anything luxurious. We would definitely come back in future vacations.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this villa. It was beautiful, the pool was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. The family hosts were delightful, accommodating and helpful. We could not have asked for more. We would definitely recommend this villa for a holiday and plan to come back again.

This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to Italy. Elena has always been the most accommodating hostess and generous in her time and efforts on our behalfs. We have witnessed her generosity to all the visitors to Borgo Elena. Brava Elena! Until next, grazie mille!
