What a beautiful property set in an amazing environment, the sort of place you never want to leave. We only had a week and this definitely wasn't long enough! We went with friends and didn't go out in the evenings as had two very young children with us, instead we made the most of the shared bbq facilities, eating on the veranda and drinking the farms chianti - heaven! The owners were lovely and if we weren't in their gorgeous pool we were out visiting nearby cities such as Florence and Sienna. A very good time was had!

Pictures on web site do not do justice to this property. Sit and watch the sun go down with a bottle of the owners red wine produced from their own grapes.

We were very impressed with this villa. Its location is superb; quiet, clean, quaint and not overrun by tourists. Pergine is a small village in a rural setting. We had a rent car and toured nearby sights daily. A grocery, meat market, bakery and a restaurant werer only a few steps away. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The local neighbors were wonderful - very friendly despite the language barrier.

When planning a trip to Tuscany, you try to find a place that encompasses all the splendors of the area and culture: Breathtaking views, olive trees, outdoor terrasses with light shade, rustic architecture yet luxury and great service. This villa has is all. With spectacular views of the Tuscan hills, the villa is superbly situated for trips to locations like Siena, San Gimingiano, Volterra, Lucca, Pisa, Greve-in-Chianti etc.

This is a very charming stone apartment, quite spacious and the owners were friendly and helpful. The garden and views were fantastic. Fresh vegetables out of the garden were a bonus! I totally agree with Jim S.

The village of Pergine Valdarno is very centrally situated, close to Arrezzo and not far from Florence with lots of beautiful villages in the vicinity. The casa is simple but lovely, and full of atmosphere, and within walking distance of the village shops. We really enjoyed our two weeks at Casa Vignolo. Our hosts were exceptionally hospitable - which we will long remember.

If you want a real taste of Tuscany Village living, rent this town villa. I felt like one of the townspeople, especially as we hung our laundry out on the rack to dry. Everyone went out of their way to be extra friendly to us. We had a wonderful seven days in Pergine Valdarno and would consider retuning to that area for a second or third time. It was very centrally located to everything you need to see in Tuscany and Umbria. Loved it!!!

We had a party of 8 adults with very diverse tastes and we all agreed the vilino blu was an excellent selection in a beautiful area. You have easy access to Sienna, Florence, Assissi, Pisa, Lucca, Arrezzo and obviously loro Ciufenno. You will not be disappointed if you stay with Paolo at the Vilino Blu..

Camelia is a charming little apartment in a very densely populated family beach resort. My daughter, age 17, and I spent a week there as a part of a trip that included some time in Florence. The landlord was very nice and efficient. The apartment an extremely clean basic beach rental. Most of the tourists in this resort are Italian or German. We did not encounter one other American or other English speaking tourist for the first six days of the week we were there. There is bus trasportation in town, but you must be patient about train and bus connections from nearby Donoratico. The coast is lovely. There is one very good restaurant in the town and several excellent ones nearby. If you aren't into pizza, there are only two restaurants in the town. We greatly enjoyed the beach and rented chairs and an umbrella for the week at S. Lucia beach. If you are looking for a low key family oriented resort from which to explore a corner of Tuscany, this is an excellent choice. Castagneto Carducci was the most charming of the hill towns we visited and only about 7 miles from Marina del Castagneto. We had an affordable and very relaxing vacation. It was a pleasant contrast with the rushing about and intense sight seeing we did in Florence.
