Hospitality, Osteria "Gentile" with veg garden, Cooking School and a stunning infinity pool overlooking the valley: il Canto del Maggio, owned by Simona and her family, isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place where you meet a family deeply rooted in this land and in its rhythms.
Here guests are welcomed into six charming units that reflect a rare and authentic form of hospitality: the Albergo diffuso—literally, a ‘scattered hotel’. Developed in Italy, this model revitalizes once-abandoned villages by blending comfort with local tradition in a truly immersive experience- in fact the "borgo" is a shared community between locals that live here permanently, and travelers that was born in the late 1980's.
Our collaboration with this placa was born to promote a network of local chefs, farmers, winemakers, guides, and hospitality professionals — all working together to create meaningful moments that we hope will make your stay one to remember.
My team (I am Tuscany) and I will take care of the accommodation side of your experience — from the moment you book to the day you arrive. Before your stay, we’ll coordinate with you to plan any extra services or personalized experiences, so everything is ready and tailored to your needs before you arrive.
Simona, the soul of this place, will welcome you into her world: her home, her kitchen, around her table, or walking through the vegetable garden — the orto. On the plate, a cuisine that arises spontaneously: the garden decides the menu, and we simply follow its lead.
Together, we can plan special dinners in the garden or by the pool, enjoy breakfast on the terrace or your private patio, and explore much more — from local farmers’ markets and tastings to our favorite go-to places in the area.

Vistamare è una villa moderna e spaziosa situata tra alberi affascinanti nella località costiera di Rosignano Marittimo, in Toscana. Completamente ristrutturata nel 2022, la proprietà si sviluppa su tre livelli e rappresenta un rifugio raffinato per chi cerca pace e tranquillità sul litorale toscano. La villa sorge all'interno di un'area privata completamente recintata di 900 m2, dove un giardino terrazzato ricco di vegetazione e alberi maturi crea un'atmosfera serena e naturale. La piscina in acqua salata con diametro di 7 m costituisce l'elemento principale degli spazi esterni.

La piscina in acqua salata misura 7 m di diametro ed è circondata da un'area dedicata dotata di doccia e WC. Una doccia esterna aggiuntiva è disponibile in giardino. Il giardino terrazzato, ricco di alberi e fauna locale, crea un ambiente lussureggiante e privato ideale per il relax all'aperto. Un'area barbecue consente di cenare all'aperto in un contesto suggestivo. Il perimetro completamente recintato dei 900 m2 di terreno garantisce privacy totale durante il soggiorno. Un sentiero a gradini conduce alla villa, aggiungendo fascino all'accesso alla proprietà.

La villa si sviluppa su tre livelli ed è stata completamente ristrutturata nel 2022. La piscina è disponibile da aprile a ottobre. Un'area parcheggio coperta in loco può ospitare fino a 4 veicoli. La connessione Wi-Fi è disponibile in tutta la proprietà. Un parcheggio coperto accoglie fino a 4 auto. Il proprietario non accetta gruppi di giovani, al fine di garantire un'atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante per tutti gli ospiti.
Distanze e attrazioni
Castiglioncello dista 1,5 km dalla villa; si tratta di una graziosa località balneare con ristoranti, caffetterie e servizi locali. La proprietà offre accesso diretto alla spiaggia, dove è possibile godere delle acque cristalline del Mar Tirreno. Un supermercato, una panetteria e la stazione ferroviaria si trovano nelle vicinanze. La città di Cecina dista circa 13 km, mentre Livorno è raggiungibile entro 20 km e offre musei, mercati e una vivace scena culturale.
