Het huisje ligt op een fantastische lokatie: op 550 mt hoogte met panoramisch uitzicht op het dal. Vanaf de parkeerplaats moet je wel ongeveer 80 mt steil omhoog lopen maar dat vonden wij als wandelaars geen probleem. Fabio, de verhuurder, had ons opgewacht bij de parkeerplaats en heeft onze bagage met zijn jeep omhoog gebracht, dus dat was heel prettig. Fabio kwam af en toe langs om zijn moestuin te sproeien want het was 2 weken lang boven de 30’! Maar het is een vriendelijke en aardige man die heel redelijk Engels spreekt en we hadden ook geen last van zijn aanwezigheid.
De tuin is heel prettig omdat je altijd of in de zon of in de schaduw kunt zitten.

The cottage is in a fantastic location: at an elevation of 550 meters with a panoramic view of the valley. From the parking lot, you do have to walk about 80 meters up a steep slope, but as hikers, we didn’t find that to be a problem. Fabio, the landlord, had been waiting for us at the parking lot and drove our luggage up in his jeep, which was very helpful. Fabio stopped by every now and then to water his vegetable garden because the temperature had been above 30° for two weeks! But he’s a friendly and kind man who speaks English quite well, and his presence didn’t bother us at all.
The garden is very pleasant because you can always sit either in the sun or in the shade.
