The gorgeous villa nestled atop the hills of Castiglion Fiorentino was more spectacular than the pictures! The views were breath-taking , and the place was immaculate. To our delight, there were a few surprises at the villa - the pool had some lovely cabanas and new umbrellas installed, plus a hot jacuzzi which was lovely to enjoy in the evenings whilst taking in the view.
We did not have a car, and transport did prove tricky, but our hosts were super helpful in collecting us from the local train station (however, I do recommend hiring a car). One evening, the matriarch and her friend cooked us a lovely local meal which included the most amazing Bistecca Fiorentina (the consistency was tender and soft, like butter), followed a spectacular Tiramisu - delightful! Definitely too much food, but we certainly did not mind. The complimentary vino della casa and house made olive oil were also a very lovely touch. Such a spectacular home, secluded and private location – even the separate staircases in the house offer some privacy from your guests (or kids…). We so enjoyed our time here and cannot wait to return to sunny, beautiful Tuscany.
Villa Cerritini is a very nice house - we were 12 persons living there under our vacation. The pool is clean and well managed, and it is a good thing that there is a table with chairs, so that we could spend evenings outside too.
The house is not too far from Montepoliciano, a very beautiful city with a lot to see, both in the city and on the way to the city and back.
What a tremendous place this is. The 5* house is set in the beautiful area of Castiglione. Tranquil location with amazing views of the wonderful Val D’Orcia region. Luc and Jacqueline are very kind and helpful, without being intrusive at all. The house is full with historic elements but carefully modernized with all necessary equipments. The house is spotless and in perfect condition. The pool was awesome. We will definitely come back to this dream house in this amazingly beautiful area. Strongly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation in the magnificent Val D’Orcia area.
Unterkunft mit Blick auf den See und Hinterland. Unter der Woche sehr ruhig, da waren wir die einzigen in den nahegelegen Häusern. Am Wochenende störten etwas die Biker vor dem Haus.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Accommodation with a view of the lake and hinterland. Very quiet during the week, we were the only ones in the nearby houses. At the weekend, the bikers in front of the house were a bit disturbing.
Die Unterkunft war super. Wir konnten uns richtig erholen. Sabrina die Hausbesitzerin war sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns bei der Hinfahrt sehr geholfen. Es war alles toll, sehr zum weiter empfehlen????

The villa is beautiful and the views were gorgeous. Eduardo was absolutely the best. When we struggled to get our coach up the hill to the top, he stepped in and helped us get a rental car, lugged our baggage up and went above-and-beyond. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Eduardo!!!!!
Fantastic place. Great and friendly house owners. Place was beautiful and quite in the mountains. Our group (7 adults 4 kids) loved every bit of it. The pool area was so nice during the warm days and the dining at the patio was great. We definitely recommend this place
