Wonderful apartment. This apartment was clean and carefully maintained. Had all the necessities for cooking and a great layout. Ivan and his family are very warm and gracious hosts. Not intrusive but helpful and very welcoming. They have a bountiful garden that they encouraged us to use. The location was a great jumping off point for our road trips to Siena, Civita di Bagnoregio, Montalcino, Sansepolcro and Cortona. It is a great place to just hang out. The views are really beautiful of the valley below. The little restaurant across the street was really good. The one thing to be aware of is that the altitude makes it a little cooler than lower down. My only disappointment was not being able to use the pool but that was the weather's fault and not our hosts. The pool looked great.
I would definitely rent here again.
we expected a more up to date renovation of the premises.The inclusif maid help was very welcome and very friendly. She even coocked two nights for us.
I stayed in Tenuta Il Tresto mid September 2016 with my family and we were very pleased with our stay. Gabrio and Sophie was excellent in making us feel welcome and we recieved lots of advice on what to go and see in order to make the best of our stay. The pool was awesome and the morning breakfast buffet had most everything. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Beautiful surroundings, quiet place, optimal environment to relax, lovely and obliging hostess, excellent in-house wine and olive oil, what more could we want on holiday?
