Ckean welll equipped villa with lovely pool and garden making it perfect for families. Located in a village and within walking dustance of cBientino there is access to all amenities. Pauk was kind helpfilnand wecomimg. A greart host.
An excellent, very well equipped villa with beautiful views which comfortably housed our family of sixteen (ten adults and six children). The owners who live next door were very helpful and fortunately speak very good English. The pool isn't heated but with temperatures in the mid thirties at the end of May it was well used! There are extensive lovely gardens but this did result in the only minor problem, a lot of midges / mosquitoes but just make sure you bring plenty of insect repellant. Overall a perfect villa for our extended family.
Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und erfüllte alle Versprechen. Die Privatsphäre wurde in jeder Hinsicht gewahrt. Die Einrichtungen waren für heiße Tage (Pool) bis hin zu frischen Abenden (großer Rau) für alles vorhanden. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung wurde jeder Vorstellung gerecht. Lia, als Ansprechpartnerin, stand jederzeit zur Verfügung.
Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundungen der Toskana lag es ideal.
Besonders zu empfehlen waren Lari (mit der Nudelfabrik Martelli und der Osteria LA BOTTEGA DI CANFREO mit der benachbarten Käserei Antica Grotta di Stagionatura - Besichtigung über die Osteria möglich) und San Gimignano mit der Gelateria Dondoli (Ausgezeichnete Qualität und Warten in der Schlange wert). Als außerwöhnliches Gourmeterlebnis kann ich das für einen MICHELIN-Stern nominierte Restaurant Lo Scopiccio Ristorante (nur 1,2km entfernt) empfehlen.
Wer von Florenz anreist sollte einen Zwischenstopp (zum Käse- Wein- und Öltasting) bei der Fattoria Corzano and Paterno,in San Casciano in Val di Pesa machen (es lohnt sich).
Viel Spaß in der Toskana.
Wij vonden het huis een andere uitstraling hebben dan op de foto’s, zelfs zo dat we ons afvroegen of we wel bij het goede huis waren aangekomen. De communicatie verliep heel slecht. Ze beloofde te komen maar kwam pas veel later opdagen. Communiceerde nauwelijks, zo liet ze niet even het huis zien ofzo, en er was een een kinderstoel gereserveerd die toch niet klaarstond. Daarbij vonden wij 200 euro borg in die houding ook zo wantrouwend overkomen en niet zo vriendelijk. Het voelde niet warm, de tuin was niet goed onderhouden. En goed om te weten is dat je echt heel erg afhankelijk bent van een auto. Rond het huis is geen speeltuintje of zwembad en dat is ook niet in de buurt. Siena is wel mooi dichtbij. Het huis zelf heeft verder wel alle benodigdheden, al was het koffiezetapparaat kapot. Het was er ook lekker koel, terwijl het buiten erg warm was. Wij laten nauwelijks slechte recensies achter, maar hier zijn we zelfs eerder weggegaan…
Super Unterkunft mit ganz kleinem Haken….. Die Zuwegung ist für Sportwagen ungeeignet, da sehr staubige Schotterpiste mit sehr vielen und tiefen Schlaglöchern. Fahrzeug setzt auf.
This is a wonderful home in Montepulciano! It is a perfect example of a traditional Italian home. It is well located in the historic area. As in all of historic Montepulciano, there are hills involved!
Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Large and airy. The bathroom is functional but would benefit from upgrading. The only drawback is the waste management as its a 10 minute drive to the recycling centre or €100 charge for removal
Fabulous time! The house is huge and has everything we needed. A very traditional farmhouse that is very secluded with lots of space and a great pool
