Le rondini è parte di un tipico casolare di campagna, ristrutturato in stile tradizionale, situato a piano terreno, molto confortevole, dalle finestre che si affacciano sul giardino, si gode una splendida vista.
Il giardino, attrezzato con sdraio e la pergola fornita di tavolo, sedie e barbecue, hanno una vista panoramica direttamente su San Gimignano e le sue torri.
L'appartamento è composto da: cucina, camera matrimoniale (letto 150 x 90 cm) con bagno e soggiorno fornito di divano, poltrone e tavolo, separato, al quale si accede da una porta a vetro, situata di fronte all'ingresso della cucina.
Di fianco all'appartamento vivono i proprietari, che sono utili per qualsiasi richiesta, pur non disturbando la vostra privacy.
L'appartamento è dotato di stanza lavanderia, con lavatrice ed asse da stiro e parcheggio.

A lovely comfortable well equipped villa. Excellent location for touring the area. The view from the private backyard is stunning at any time of day or night. The two rooms are separated by the entry pathway and although unusual, this just seems to work. On one side, you have a fully equipped kitchen that seats four, a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom with shower, albeit small but tastefully updated. The separate living room has a comfy couch and chairs for TV viewing if you want. We spent our time on the covered patio to enjoy the views and the frequent visits from the owner,s two lovely dogs who would come to play or just hangout. Attached to living room, there is a shed, as spotless as the villa, with a washing machine for you to use if needed. No dryer but who needs that with the hot Tuscan sun. Marco is a great host, and living next door, he was always ready to help if needed, but never encroached on our privacy, this is a truly wonderful place to enjoy Tuscany

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful view. Great location near San Gimignano. Accommodation was clean, kitchen well-stocked. Living area is a separate unit which we didn't t really use - and was a bit musty inside. Hosts were very helpful, and two dogs were a bonus!

Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner and pleased to find the apartment was very clean, neat and spacious.
The owner resides on the premises and was very accommodating answering all of our questions and we had everything we needed. The view of San Gimignano was amazing and the proximity for hiking as well as walks into town was perfect. Zeer mooi uitzicht op San Gimignano. Compleet huisje voor een mooie prijs in de Toscane.
Minpuntje is de geluidsoverlast van de eigenaren. Vermoedelijk ligt de huiskamer van de eigenaren aan de slaapkamer. Je kunt letterlijk iedere avond de televisie van de eigenaren horen en ook als er visite is dan kan het behoorlijk veel geluidsoverlast geven.

The property is classic Tuscan with the most amazing view from the garden of San Gimignano just across the valley. We fell in love with "St Jimi" very quickly and you must visit for a meal or wander in the evening when you can imagine it in it's medievil times so much more.
A lovely home with 2 very friendly dogs (Mafi and Olivia) who will love to play with you or sit by you whilst you enjoy the garden or living room! The bathroom is very small, so claustofobes be aware, but modern and sylish. We slept the best ever and I think the clear air, hills and local Chianti for Euro5 a bottle really helped too! Everything you need is here and it felt really like home for a week. Local supermarkets were full of tuscan goodies, it's really hard to not try everything - so pack loose clothes!
Great location, with windy roads to many other lovely places to visit - I would seriously recommend a car to enjoy this area. We visited Sienna (Very hilly but look for the motifs of various "contrada" like road signs on the corners, plus fountains for each too - everything from tortoises to rhinos!, Volterra - very high in the hills with amazing views, Certaldo (small but very old) where we then caught the train to Firenze (Florence, very full of tourists and you'd really have to queue to see any museums). And of course we visited a local vineyard and have many bottles on their way to us now - wish we could have stayed longer.
Would seriously return - with is my best recommendation.

My husband and I stayed at Poggetto Di Montese, Le Rondini for one week in March for our honeymoon. The descriptions on Easy Reserve do not do justice to the peaceful lushness of this location. The yard looks out over the valley to the towers of San Gimignano, and it is hard to drag yourself away from the rejuvenating warmth of the apartment even to go for gelato in town. The apartment is fully equipped and has a full kitchen. The living room space is separate from the apartment and provides a nice private spot to get away from the afternoon heat. The owners house is attached to the apartment, but you hardly notice their presence and they are more than happy to help if you need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only regret was that we hadn't planned to stay longer.

Poggetto Di Montese is a lovely spot for a relaxing few days. We enjoyed being out of town with our own kitchen after all hotels. We stayed in the Le Rondini apartment, and there is a lovely view to San Gimignano, about 10 mins by car, and you are also close to Certaldo and Poggibonsi to train back to Florence (about 1hr on train). The property has a lovely garden with lilos for you to relax and enjoy the view, and a pergola with table and chairs for outdoor dining. We didn't use the separate lounge area very much, but it is well stocked with books about the area, tv etc.
The property is about a 1km from the bus stop, which we thought we would walk to but it is not really a safe walk, with no shoulder, so this is not probably an easy property without having your own transport. We had a hire car, so were easily able to visit local regions, Chianti, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence etc. Great base to come back to. Marco and his family are lovely and respectful of your privacy.

My sister and I rented this apartment for the week of July 2-9th, 2011. We could not have been more happy with its location, accommodations, owners and overall ambiance. We were greeted by the owner with a basketful of vegetables from his garden and olive oil from their olive grove which we put to great use throughout our stay. His entire family was wonderful. They were often present, but not intrusive and it was their presence that made the stay the much more enjoyable. You really felt a part of the Tuscan life.
The unit itself is actually comprised of two buildings. The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are housed together in an attachment to the actual farmhouse. There is a magnificent view from the kitchen window! Both my sister and I found the bed too hard for our American tastes, but by the end of the week we had adjusted. The bathroom and shower were a nice size compared to what I had been accustomed to in other Italian rental situations. We had everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils including a moka pot. We also had free use of the laundry and could pick items from the garden, as needed.
The living room is across a stone pathway and is its own separate building. Other reviewers cited this as an inconvenience but completely disagree. It added to the overall charm and we used it nightly. There is a fireplace which we did not need to use. They also have a TV which accesses American channels but a lightening storm had disabled the satellite. It was not fixed until a day or two before we were leaving but we assured our host that this was not an issue as we were not there to watch TV! Off of the living room is a private patio with table and chairs and a small charcoal grill.
If the view from the kitchen was magnificent, the view from the patio and living room was ultra-magnificent! From our yard (which had 2 lounge chars), the patio, living room, and the kitchen you could see the Tuscan hillside in all its beauty. In addition to this, there was a spectacular view of the town of San Gimignano. You could see all the towers and the town of "Medieval Manhattan." Furthermore, there was rosemary, lavender and thyme everywhere. We cut several sprigs and placed them within vases and baskets left for our use. We even used rosemary branches to skewer chicken to grill. All was so lovely.
They had a very fat cat a young dog, Olivia, who were a constant presence, which we absolutely adored. Especially Olivia, who greeted us at our car, every time we pulled in, bringing gifts of sticks or whatever else was at hand. It made my sister miss her dog a bit less.
One evening the owner’s wife had friends over and she brought us over Farro seafood salad for us to enjoy as well.
Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone.

We stayed for 8 days in December 2010 and it was a perfect vacation for us. The property is located just outside San Gimignano and like others have written, has a lovely view. We enjoyed watching the changes in the skyline as the weather changed. The place is cozy and comfortable. We did not use the salon except for one evening, which is detached from the bedroom and kitchen/dining area. While there was plenty of wood to heat it, it was just easier to stay in the main part of the apartment. The owner, Marco Bracali and his family couldn't have been nicer in every way. They had put out a few Christmas touches, left cookies for us, and were supportive when we needed them. We would return here again and recommend it for others. The only remark is that the bathroom is a bit small but other than that, it's a special place to be.

The view was breathtaking and the owners are wonderful and very friendly. We travelled with our 2 year old son and were made to feel very welcome and at home. It is a convenient, lovely location and we hope to come and stay again one day.

We stayed for one week at Le Rondini (Pogetto di Montese).
The initial impression is quite stunning as the property has an amazing picture postcard view of San Gimignano. The actual property is very typical Tuscan - not luxurious by any means but quite comfortable. The living room area is detached from the bedroom/kitchen and we found this quite inconvenient so did not really use it that much. The shower room is a bit cramped and a bit dim (could do with some new lighting).The owners were very friendly and if you stay here earlier in the year you can take advantage of the vegetable garden.The overall impression is one of tranquility and we loved the location but would have preferred something a little more modern. This was a lovely setting for a Tuscany holiday. The villa was attractive and clean and fully equipped. The views over San Gimignano were spectacular. Marco and Sylvia were very welcoming and always willing to provide advice and assitance. Access to the vegetable garden for tomatoes and basil and leeks and more helped produce some great cheap meals. The location was very good as a base for visiting all the famous towns and cities in Tuscany.

Loved the property - and it was just as advertised. The location overlooking San Gimiagno was absolutely amazing and an easy drive / walk. to house itself was charming with the kitchen / bedroom / bathroom in one apartment and then a separate living room right across the walk way. Plus there was a great outdoor eating area. The owners were incredibly helpful and friending. And the dog Gulliver (3 months at the time) was a great addition to our holiday fun. Definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in the Le Rondini unit for a week on our honeymoon last month. The property was absolutely lovely - there is a nice porch area with a table and chairs and chairs out on the lawn as well, all overlooking a beautiful view of the countryside and the towers of San Gimignano. The kitchen/bedroom portion of the unit was well equipped and had charming windows and high vaulted beam ceilings. The living room portion was nice too - it had a couch/tv and a wood-burning stove which was quite nice. The owner Marco was very friendly and happy to help with whatever we needed. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this villa to anyone traveling to this area.

I can not think of a more perfect setting to relax and unwind. The view was amazing. Marco could not have been more hospitable and he makes an amazing pesto!!! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely place in a really beautiful location overlooking San Gimignano. Marco and family were extremely helpful and hospitable, without being in any way obtrusive. They even allowed me to help them a little with the olive harvest - which was great fun! We found the bed mattress rather soft and unsupportive, and experienced quite a bit of noise at times from the neighbouring apartment, but nevertheless would thouroughly recommend this apartment and very much hope to return some day in the not-too-distant future!

A very clean property, with excellent grounds well presented. View from the grounds is beautiful, could sit and sunbathe all day. The apartment is attached to the main house and another rental property, and you can hear some family noise, but nothing intrusive.Much quieter than a hotel. Although basic, the apartment is well equipped - even a hairdryer in the bedroom. Excellent hot water and heating if needed. We plan to return someday with friends.

The villa is located in an amazing spot overviewing San Gimignano. It i a central location in Toscany with convenient access to many locations. The house is located in the center of beautifull and serene agricultural area. The unit is very comfort with bedroom and big and equipped kitchen and a living house is in an adjacant building. The beds are very soft with a matress sitting on a springs bed. The owners are very helpfull and very responsive to any request.

My grandson and I had a wonderful time at the villa.We want to return to Italy. Wonderful family and tremendously helpful. We were offered fresh vegetables from their family garden and it was really good. I can't say enough of this wonderful proprietor and his family. I would certainly reccomend this villa for a very relaxed family atmosphere. Just what we were looking for,and the location is really nice. We spent the evenings on the lawn overlooking San Gimignano. JUST BREATH TAKING!!!! Thanks Again for your service

Highly Recommended! Very clean apartment attached to owner's home with amazing views of San Gimignano's towers. The garden was lovely, the location excellent, and the owners were very nice and we never even noticed that their home was attached to our area. We were on our honeymoon and LOVED our stay there!

The location is wonderful, centrally located for Sienna, Florence, the Chianti region, etc, and only minutes away from San Gimignano. The view from the property's garden of the latter and the surrounding countryside is unbeatable. The family who own it are friendly (even their dog) and give their guests as much privacy as needed.

Marco is a kind ,generous and helpful host. The villa couldn't be better located , with the quiet beauty of the countryside, the views, and the convenience of such a lovely town only a couple of kilometres away.The garden is perfect and the outdoor patio delightful.

This is a very charming stone apartment, quite spacious and the owners were friendly and helpful. The garden and views were fantastic. Fresh vegetables out of the garden were a bonus! I totally agree with Jim S.

We had an excellent experience and enjoyed staying at the villa. Marco was especially nice and even gave us a bottle of his special wine at our departure. We're already discussing a return trip to Italy and plan to use your reservation service for that trip.

Fabulous holiday. Accommodation comfortable, clean and well equipped, couldn't ask for more. Owner very friendly and on hand if needed and the cookery school next door kept us entertained. We walked into San gimignano daily, took about 30 mins and made the coffee and cake in the square guilt free.
