Grazioso podere ristrutturato mantenendo le caratteristiche architettoniche di un tempo e usando esclusivamente materiali edili biologici, sul Monte Amiata, in prossimità di Santa Fiora, paese medievale citato da Dante nella Divina Commedia. I bambini possono divertirsi a guardare gli animali di proprietà (asini, oche, capre, galline, pavone etc). Zona ricca di riserve naturali, boschi e sorgenti dove fare il bagno e punto di partenza per visite alle zone archeologiche come Pitigliano, o per intraprendere gite (su richiesta organizzabili) nella zona famosa in tutto il mondo per il suo vino: Brunello Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano. Grandi spazi esterni, laghetti privati, percorso trekking nella proprietà. Convenzione con vicino maneggio per fare cavalcate notturne e far partecipare i bambini ai programmi loro dedicati. A 35 km dal centro di Montalcino, Terme di Saturnia, a 1 km dal centro di Santa Fiora, a 40 km dal centro di Terme di Bagno Vignoni, posizione isolata, tranquilla su una collina, immerso nel verde. Per uso privato: terreno (recintato), giardino, piscina fuori terra (9 x 5 m, profondità 130 - 130 cm, disponibilità stagionale: 15.Mag. - 05.Set.). Cucina aperta (4 punti cottura, forno, forno a microonde, congelatore) con tavolo da pranzo. Piano superiore: 1 camera matrimoniale con doccia/bide/WC. Das Ferienhaus "La Vecchia Fattoria" ist wirklich ein außergewöhnlicher Urlaubsort. Wir haben die 18 Tage dort sehr genossen. Es liegt abgeschieden und ruhig. Das Dorf ist gut zu Fuß ereichbar und bietetalles, was zum täglichen Leben nötig ist. Auf dem Grundstük hat man viel Platz und es bieten sich viele Möglichkeiten zu sitzen, zu spielen, sich auzuruhen und die Natur und den Garten zu genießen. Der Pool ist eine gute Abwechslung an heißen Tagen. Mir hatte es das muntere Plätschern des kleinen Brunnens angetan. Die Kinder liebten den engen Kontakt zu den vielen Tieren auf dem Gelände (Hund, Katze, Hase, Schafe, Ziegen, Pony, Enten, Gänse, Hühner). Der Kontakt zu der sehr freundlichen und hilfebereiten Vermieterin war vorzüglich und für uns eine große Bereicherung. Wir bekamen viele Tipps und in manchen Fällen auch ganz konkrete Hilfe. Das ganze Anwesen, vom Zugang über die Ausgestaltung bis zur Einrichtung ist sehr urig und uin manchen Punkten auch etwas improvisiert. Das ist sicher nicht für jeden etwas. Wir mochten es sehr!
Achtung: Der Anfashrtsweg mit dem Auto ist sehr eng und steil. Der Weg hoch zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad ins Dorf ebenso. Das hält fit!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The holiday home "La Vecchia Fattoria" is truly an exceptional holiday destination. We really enjoyed the 18 days there. It is secluded and quiet. The village is within walking distance and offers everything needed for daily life. There is plenty of space on the property and there are many opportunities to sit, play, relax and enjoy nature and the garden. The pool is a good change on hot days. The children loved the close contact with the many animals on the site (dog, cat, rabbit, sheep, goats, pony, ducks, geese, chickens). The contact with the very friendly and helpful landlady was excellent and for us a great asset. We got lots of tips and in some cases very specific help.The whole property, from access to the design to the decor is very quaint and in some ways somewhat improvised. That's certainly not something for everyone. We really liked it!

Presso la Vecchia Fattoria abbiamo vissuto un'atmosfera di "altri tempi" in un contesto naturale dove tutto aveva un sapore magico. I proprietari sono persone disponibili, squisite, presenti ma assolutamente non invadenti. Sono stati giorni indimenticabili. Grazie e a presto

Farmleben pur! Wir haben eine tolle Zeit inmitten all der Tiere, der wundervollen Landschaft, der reifen Feigen, Brombeeren, etc, nicht zu vergessen dem super Gemüsegarten von Sandro - unserem tollen und sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgeber- verbracht. Der Pool, der Tischkicker, das Trampolin und die Tischtennisplatte haben uns und unseren glücklichen Bauernhofkindern ( 2 familien mit 4 kindern 6+8 Jahre) die restliche Zeit so vertrieben, dass sie wie im Flug ( trotz zeitweise schlechten Wetter) verging. Danke an Sandro, Corinna und Niccolò fürs Ziegenmelken, Hühnerfüttern, die tollen Tipps, die geschenkten Marmeladengläser ( zum Einkochen der vielen Feigen, Pflaumen und Brombeeren).

Die morgendlichen 20 minütigen Spaziergänge hoch ins Dorf zum Bäcker haben schöne Blicke eingebracht. Die erste Anfahrt war etwas schwer zu finden und unser Auto hätte nicht viel breiter sein dürfen, bei späteren Ausflugsfahrten waren wir jedoch gut eingespielt. Auch mit Fahrradträger ist es gerade noch möglich ( radeln aber noch für Bergfahrer möglich)

We had a great time amidst all the animals, the beautiful landscape, the ripe figs, blackberries, etc, not to mention the super vegetable garden by Sandro - our wonderful and very helpful host. The pool, table football, trampoline and table tennis have kept us and our happy farm children (2 families with 4 children 6+8 years) occupied for the remaining time so the time (despite sometimes poor weather) flew away. Thanks to Sandro, Corinna and Niccolò for milking goats, feeding chickens, the great tips, the glass jars (for preserving the many figs, plums and blackberries).

The 20 minute walk up to the village to the bakery in the morning gave us beautiful views. The first directions were somewhat hard to find and our car should not have been much broader but during our later excursions all worked out well.
