Bel casale in pietra situato in posizione tranquilla e panoramica nella campagna intorno a Lucca. La proprietà, che si sviluppa su due piani, è stata finemente ristrutturata lasciando inalterate le sue caratteristiche architettoniche originarie ed è stata arredata con molto gusto ed estrema attenzione ai dettagli. La casa si trova vicino alla villa padronale ma è completamente indipendente e usufruisce di un ampio giardino e di una bella piscina privata. Sono ammessi animali domestici di piccola taglia.
Distanze: il piccolo paese di Orentano con negozi di generi alimentari a 1,5 km Altopascio con negozi e servizi di ogni genere a 5 km Lucca a 15 km, Pisa (aeroporto) ca. 40 km, Firenze (aeroporto) a ca. 55 km, Montecatini, nota cittadina termale, con campi da golf a 15 km, la zona costiera della Versilia (con ampie spiagge attrezzate) a circa 40 km.
A disposizione degli ospiti: giardino privato e completamente attrezzato con sedie, tavoli, sdraio, ombrellone, grande piscina privata e attrezzata con lettini (14 x 6 m –profondità minima: 1,40 m; profondità massima 1,8 m - aperta dal 25/04 al 15/10), veranda, barbecue, ping-pong. Connessione internet, ferro da stiro, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Parcheggio coperto all’interno della proprietà. Nelle vicinanze, è possibile praticare tennis (5 km), equitazione (8 km) e golf (15 km).

Piano terreno: soggiorno (TV sat.) con camino, angolo per la colazione, cucina aperta ben attrezzata (forno, freezer, lavastoviglie, tostapane, macchina da caffé americano), zona pranzo con accesso all’ampia veranda coperta e attrezzata per splendide cene all’aperto, camera matrimoniale (possibilità di trasformare in camera con 2 letti singoli), bagno con vasca e doccia con accesso diretto sull’esterno.
Soppalco (situato sopra al soggiorno): 2 divani letto singoli.
1° Piano: bagno con doccia, camera matrimoniale, camera matrimoniale con letto a baldacchino, bagno con doccia, 2 camere ciascuna con 2 letti singoli, bagno con doccia. Lavanderia con lavatrice. I bagni sono dotati di asciugacapelli.

- 100% del prezzo totale dell'affitto se la cancellazione viene effettuata entro 60 giorni dalla data di arrivo o in caso di no show.

La villa è bellissima, tenuta bene, con lavatrice, asciugatrice e molti altri servizi. I padroni sono stati lo stesso molto disponibili e gentili.

When we arrived at your villa we were surprised by the enormous space in- and outside the villa. It even looks a lot better than on the pictures on the website. The rooms were very clean and the enormous garden including a large swimming pool are maintained excellent. We liked especially the privacy, the swimming pool and the large terrace. We also made frequently use of the montainbikes and the ping-pong table. During our stay we visited Bientina (not so interesting), Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Viareggio, Montecatini and Montecarlo (very nice village on a hill). The owner Angela and her daughter Silvia were very kind and helpful. Overall we have had a wonderful time.

The Villa Fontine, aka Villa Niccolai, is a tremendous property, with excellent comforts, exquisite grounds, and a pastoral location. It is a very authentic Tuscan villa, looking small from the outside but is open and spacious inside. Multiple outdoor dining locations are available: poolside, under a new poolside curtained gazebo, in the garden, or under the porch awning. The owners, Angela (mother) and Sylvia (daughter), were gracious, warm, and welcoming. We did a special dinner with a chef the first night and it was divine. It is a great space for kids ages 4 and up (for younger tots, there are lots of stone stairs and the pool is not fenced), with plenty of room to run around outside. Only a few slight negatives: wifi isn't very strong so must stay close to host's house (no signal on porch or at pool); neighboring roosters start calling at 4:30 am, an authentic but not ordered wake-up call; the owner's house is very close to the villa, but owners not intrusive at all; gardening commences at 7 am or earlier each morning. Overall, it was a magnificent place to stay.

What a wonderful home you have here. It was a joy to stay. We loved coming back and making dinner and playing cards or just talking about our day. The kitchen table is THE gathering place! Than you for providing such a beautiful place for all paople to come to.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay here at Villa Fontine.Your beautiful house and stunning property were greadly enjoyed. The little touches such as lovely paintings, fresh flowers in our rooms made us feel very welcome and at home. Our boys had a wonderful time playing soccer with your family , and we really appreciate your kindness towards them. It is much larger in person than the pictures really show on the website. It was terrific and set up great for multiple family situations. The large eat in kitchen was tremendous. We cooked 12 out of 14 nights in the villa. The local vendors really have great food choices to prepare. Angela and her son were fabulous. They made a few calls for us when we had trouble with the rental car and even gave us some homemade pasta sauce.

Convenient for flights into Pisa. Lots of accessible places to visit- Lucca, Pisa, Medici Villas, Florence. Lovely Villa good for families or groups as it has lots of good bathrooms. Bigger than usual pool and exclusvie use of large garden with BBQ area.

The Villa is well located - just far enough off the A1 to assure the pleasure of rural Italy while close enough to good grocery shopping and tons of "tourist" things to do. The area has an unending variety of interesting things to do. We especially enjoyed driving the "back roads" in the area. The accomodations at the villa are wonderful. We were most appreciative of the one bedroom on the first level with wheelchair access, for one of our friends. The hosts, Lorenzo and his mother, were most gracious and very accomodating. The only difficult part of our stay was tearing ourselves away from the Villa each day to visit the local sights.

Very spacious, very clean, very beautiful inside and out. Great for kids- we have 5 kids (under 7) and they had a ball and we didn't feel like they were going to break things. If the pool had been clean and heated, we probably would have used it (we were there in mid-late April). The location was ok, although there's a lot of traffic in the surrouding areas.

The villa and the holiday was special - everything we wanted and more. The grounds were fantastic and very large. Days by the pool were relaxing. Ideally situated in Tuscany to reach all the sights. No shortage of nearby restaurants.
