La Casa per Vacanze che vi proponiamo, è composta da tre suggestivi appartamenti, nati dall'accurato restauro di un magazzino adiacente ad un antico palazzo nobiliare. Le originarie caratteristiche costruttive sono rimaste inalterate per cui, all'interno degli appartamenti si possono ammirare, in tutta la loro ritrovata bellezza, gli archi ed i soffitti con le suggestive volte di mattoni. Davanti alla casa si trova un ampio e panoramico giardino su più livelli, ombreggiato da piante di alto fusto ed attrezzato con mobili da esterno e barbecue. Nel giardino, dove ogni appartamento ha il proprio spazio privato, è altresì stata realizzata una piscina delle dimensioni di mt. 5x10 che, gli ospiti, utilizzeranno insieme al proprietario. L'arredamento, in tono con le caratteristiche costruttive degli appartamenti, è fatto con mobili antichi di buon livello e insieme alle moderne dotazioni garantisce un elevato livello di comfort. It was close to the "town square" (just a 3 or 4 minute walk) where we enjoyed going to market day on Tuesday and getting gelato and cappuccino daily. The owner, Roberto, was very helpful in ensuring we had what we needed and pointing us to the sights we needed to see. There was so much to see within 45 minutes of the villa. A pastry shop that looks and tastes divine. The rental is set on the hillside in this relaxing paradise. The market on Tuesday is just steps away, do much fun and the fresh food can be prepared in your kitchen. And eaten in among the quiet green lush garden. Wonderful. The washer was great as we packed less clothes. The kitchen was well stocked and the convection oven made wonderful pizza. The pool was pristeen. The grounds well kept. There was a pastry shop within a few minutes walking distance. The hill town of Singalunga was charming. Market day was Tuesday, fruit and vegetables, clothes and leather goods - a shoppers dream. A restaurant within five minutes walking distance was so good. We ate at The Grotto twice, I cannot begin to describe the wonderful food and friendly staff. Singalunga is a great village, we bought groceries and wine at local grocery stores. We walked to the train station and took the local trains to other hill towns. Very easy and fun. The owner of our villa lived on site and was very helpful. We are going back next year. Such a gorgeous villa.
