A 2 km dal centro di San Gimignano, in collina, posizione eccellente: centrale ma tranquilla, immerso nel verde. Per uso privato: terreno 4 ha, bel giardino per rilassarsi, piscina (5 x 12 m, profondità 140 - 140 cm, 10.04.-09.10.). Doccia esterna, patio, pergola, terrazza, mobili da giardino, barbecue. Nella casa: accesso ad internet, lavatrice. Cambio biancheria 1 volta alla settimana. Cuoco su richiesta (extra). Parcheggio (per 6 auto) nella proprietà. Negozio 2 km, supermercato 3 km, ristorante 2 km, cafe 3 km, noleggio biciclette 3 km, fermata bus 800 m, stazione ferroviaria "Certaldo" 10 km, spiaggia sabbiosa 75 km. Beautiful setting. Lots of space inside and out. Very quiet and peaceful. But was difficult to find as the name by the gate is not Il Cielo. It says Podere Le Nuoole on the gate.

Very beautiful house, garden and surroundings. San Gimignano is a nice, charming town. The welcoming representant did not speak English, so little information was available (e.g. heating). In the kitchen(s) there was no dishwasher soap, neither salt, sugar, tea etc. so you have to buy everything.

We rented the whole house,the house is very spacious on a large well situated, quiet and sunny plot, overlooking a beautifull valley and a view to San Giminagno. The pool is well placed. The daily maintenance is perfect, but was daily needed due to regular breakdowns. What we missed is that the used materials for bedding, furniture, plates, dishes, pans and knifes, etc were of poor quality, like also part of the outside furniture. One pays al lot of money and may expect that the facility meets your expectations, which was not the case due to the greed of the landlord.
We thoroughly enjoyed the property, with it's spectacular views and spacious bedrooms. It's quiet and very peaceful. Very good value for money. Walking distance to San Gimignano which was great, as parking is not easy. Great location for other trips to Tuscan towns (Florence, Siena, Volterra). The property needs a view more supplies with respect to crockery, glassware and general supplies (toilet paper, dish/dishwasher soap, salt, pepper, olive oil (basic kitchen requirements, etc.).

I have stayed at many properties around San Gimignano and I find this one very good. The view is georgous, the property is quiet, but close enough to town that you could walk in. In fact, we did! Just be mindful of walking on the highway.

Ten of us travelled all the way from Australia to have a week together in Tuscany and the Villa was everything we hoped for and much more...it is rustic, comfortable, spacious, in an excellent location and with a fantastic pool. Beware...the written directions to find the property are very confusing and with out the sat nav coordinates you will not find it!! Now that we know how to find it, we will definitely be recommending it to all our friends!
