Descrizione Proprietà
Situata in una delle più suggestive parti della Toscana e circondata da
olmeti, pinete, vigne e oliveti, Palazzo Sarteano, fattoria storica di 220 ettari, ha quel particolare fascino degli antichi siti etruschi.
Si possono affittare 7 diverse case, 6 delle quali a pochi metri di distanza l'una dalle altre, mantenendo però una grande privacy per ciascuna. Questo rende Palazzo Sarteano, un luogo perfetto per un gruppo di amici, un matrimonio, un piccolo meeting, etc.
Il Castello per 16 persone, Elisabetta per 10, Bernardo per 10, Bachiarro per 4/6; Sant'Elena per 3/5; Bernardino per 2/3; San Pietro (più isolato) per 6/8 persone. C'è una grande piscina 10x20 mt con magnifica vista( da condividere tra gli appartamenti), mentre il Castello ha una piscina privata..
Alla fine di un lungo viale alberato si erge la residenza medievale, con la sua elegante loggia e la sua torre campanaria (riproduzione della torre del palazzo comunale di Siena, la Torre del Mangia), la cappella affrescata risalente al XVI secolo e l'affascinante corte interna.La residenza è collocata nel comune di Sarteano (2 Km), con le sue piscine e acque sorgive, molto vicino a Chianciano (4 Km), famoso per le acque termali e a Chiusi, cittadina ricca di siti archeologici. Questa zona offre, non soltanto vacanze nella natura e una discreta varietà di attività, ma è anche un interessante punto di partenza per un contatto profondo con la cultura e le tradizioni di cui questa regione è così ricca.
Al centro degli antichi domini Etruschi, Chiusi era un punto di scambi commerciali già prima della fondazione di Roma. Ogni angolo della campagna circostante può nascondere un tesoro: una piccola chiesa, un pezzo d'arte poco noto o la memoria di un'antica battaglia. La sua natura e la vicinanza a Roma fanno di questa zona un luogo quasi unico. Qui potrete gustare la nostra produzione di vini ed olio d'oliva

Unterkunft hat die besten Jahre vor ca. 20 Jahren gehabt.
Sehr, sehr einfach und abgeranzt.
Müsste dringend renoviert werden!
Pool ist sehr groß - jedoch alles drum herum extrem runtergekommen.
Sauber und sehr ruhig, Betreuung vor Ort nett.
Würde es für den Preis nicht noch einmal buchen.

Accommodation has had its best years about 20 years ago.
Very, very simple and polished. Should be urgently renovated!
Pool is very big - but everything around extremely neglected.
Clean and very quiet, care on site nice.
I would not book it again for the price.

This is a great property in the Tuscan countryside--perfect for families who want a very quiet, relaxing holiday. The units on the property are a little spread out, which is nice if you don't have them all rented. It makes it more comfortable as noise doesn't travel between the two. The bigger houses have great big outdoor spaces to use as well, which is nice. The wine they grow as well is FANTASTIC and it's super affordable! Definitely sign up for a wine tasting and even buy a case for while your'e there. The only things I would warn about are: 1) Ensure you have a vehicle - taxis are very expensive and not easy to book. 2) Be aware if you do book a cooking class with a larger group, not all will get to participate, it's more a demo. The dinner is delicious though! 3) The wifi doesn't reach beyond the pool area and even there, it's very spotty. This is not necessarily a bad thing though if you want to disconnect. We kind of found it nice. 4) I don't recommend you plan an event here though. I planned a birthday dinner here and it was a bigger event and it felt like the details were very last minute and took a lot of emails with questions and made me feel a bit like a burden as well. Again though, not an issue if you want to stay here! Just not the spot for your wedding. :) Book away!

Top-Lage, sehr verträumt und romantisch, dennoch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc gut erreichbar (ca 7 Autominuten). Absolut gute Ausstattung und großzügige Zimmer mit zentralem Gemeinschaftsraum und Küche sowie riesen Garten mit überdachtem Freisitz. Freundlicher Empfang und Einführung in die Gesamtanlage im Umfeld des ehemaligen Schlösschens. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber (auch die Poolanlage !). Wir haben den Familienaufenthalt mit insgesamt 10 Personen (Großeltern, Eltern, Enkel) sehr genossen, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, jederzeit gerne wieder !

Nice 'rustic' apartment to the side of the palazzo. Great location - within easy reach of Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo, Florence... Lots to see and do in the local area and easy to find from the A1. The swimming pool is lovely and big, and the grounds are lovely with gorgeous views.
Kitchen facilities are basic but perfectly useable, the living room is nice and big, the two bedrooms comfortable, and there is a third walk-through bedroom/living room which we used as a playroom for the kids.
No TV (shock, horror for the kids) but with such a lovely pool and location, who cares?Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si
The Castle
This was the MOST WONDERFUL Italian experience we've ever had. Berenice, the owner, is simply the best!! We had 50 people staying at all the different villas for a fantastic photography workshop, and everyone left saying it was the best travel experience of their lives. I highly recommend Palazzo Sarteano to anyone, whether just to rent the castle only, or for a larger event with more rooms. I will be holding events regularly here in the future because of my great experience here.

We loved staying at the Palazzo, our accommodation was lovely itself but having the run of the grounds was an added bonus. To make it perfect, it would have been great to have some outside lighting - it was hard to see if meat was done on the barbeque in the dark! Also the internet mentioned as being available by the pool was very flaky but that may have been due to a big storm. Having a TV/DVD player would have helped a lot with my elderly mother in the evenings as well. But these are small things. We had a fabulous time, Carmen and Ionel (spelling?) were lovely and we would love to come again!

Huis was prachtig, ligging mooi, nabij supermarkt, nabij restaurants, nabij uitvalswegen. Enige nadeel waren toch redelijk oncomfortabel 2 persoonsbed. (Matras lag aan ene kant wel 5 cm hoger als aan andere kant)

Très belle propriété, au milieu d'un superbe paysage toscan. Nous avons loué Bernardo : Prestations simples, électro-ménager un peu rudimentaire, mais tout le reste était parfait. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Prachtige ligging en eenvoudige maar goede accomodatie. Het enige minpunt waren de wasmachine en de afwasmachine die niet naar behoren werkten. Vriendelijk onthaal!
