Una passeggiata per raggiungere Lucignano. Antico casolare in pietra posto a poca distanza dal paese di Lucignano che, con la sua caratteristica forma ellittica delimitata da una cinta muraria perfettamente conservata, costituisce uno dei più interessanti esempi di urbanistica medievale arrivato fino ai nostri giorni. A Lucignano, raggiungibile anche a piedi con una bella passeggiata nella campagna di circa 1,5 km, si trovano negozi, servizi e accoglienti e tipici ristoranti dove sarà possibile gustare i piatti più famosi della cucina Toscana. Durante tutto il corso dell'anno il paese è inoltre teatro di rinomate manifestazioni folcloristiche e culturali.
Immersa tra campi coltivati, oliveti e bosco. Il Gorgo è un'antica casa colonica di cui già si trovano tracce nelle cartografie storiche della Valdichiana del XVII secolo, quando faceva parte di una grande fattoria alla quale è appartenuta fino quasi ai giorni nostri. La casa è posta al centro di una grande proprietà recintata che comprende oliveti, campi coltivati, una parte di bosco ed un piccolo lago. Dall'ampio e panoramico giardino, dove è situata la bella piscina (dim. mt. 10x5, prof. mt. 1,40-1,60), si gode di una rilassante vista sulla campagna circostante.
Un casolare rustico in stile tipico Toscano. L'arredamento della casa, in stile rustico con alcuni pezzi originali d'antiquariato, il vasto equipaggiamento (tv satellitare, stereo, freezer, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, forno) insieme ad un fresco pergolato attrezzato con tavolo e sedie per mangiare all'aperto, barbecue e forno a legna, rendono Il Gorgo meta ideale per trascorrere un'incantevole e rigenerante vacanza.

PIANO TERRA: ingresso da tipico porticato, ampia camera matrimoniale con porta finestra affacciata sul giardino e bagno privato con doccia.
PIANO PRIMO: ingresso da scala interna, ampio soggiorno-pranzo con angolo cottura, grande camino e divani. Camera matrimoniale, tre camere con due letti singoli, bagno con vasca e bagno con doccia.
IN DOTAZIONE: frigorifero con congelatore, forno, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, microonde, moka, macchina da caffè americana, spremiagrumi, seggiolone, TV satellitare, stereo CD, ferro e asse da stiro, ventilatori (2), forno a legna, connessione Internet Wi-Fi.

Un posto davvero incantevole .
Il casale è spazioso e il giardino ha uno splendido panorama.
Ottima posizione per arrivare sia a Siena, Cortona, Arezzo.....

The outdoor area makes this villa. Lovely pool and surrounding patio areas. Plenty of seating and the grounds are private and enormous! The inside is very basic, with a cold running shower in the ground floor wet room. Unfortunately the villa was advertised with a washing machine but no information to advise us the waste pipe is not plumbed in, unlike the water inlet. Thus on our first attempt at using we had water spilling out the back of the machine. We were verbally berated by a cleaner, (happened to be on site) who got the handyman to explain that a hose needed to be attached to the rear of the machine and fed into the toilet or bidet in the wet room. Had we known it would not of been a problem, but my husband had google translate running on his phone and therefore knew exactly the rude racial comments made by the cleaner! It is only due to this incident that we would not return and thankfully our only experience of poor hospitality in all three holidays we have enjoyed in Tuscany.

We loved the beautiful grounds with the flowers, olive trees and grape vines -- so stunning. It was all fenced in yet huge so the kids had tons of safe space to explore and run around. We adored Lucignano and how cute and non-touristy it was. It was a lovely walk there for breakfast each morning

Fantastically located villa in a secluded area, within walking distance to the beautiful walled hilltop town of Lucignano. We were two families staying with children ages 4 – 11 years for two weeks. The villa has plenty of outside space, a large pool with wonderful unspoilt views of the Tuscan countryside and is great for families with kids. The house is a good size, the furniture inside is a little dated but we spent most of our time outside. We found the fridge freezer to be very small for 9 occupants. A house manual would also be useful for local information, how to get to town by foot (there is a short cut that we found), information on restaurants, places to visit, emergency information etc. Despite that, we had a superb time and would definitely visit again.

Vacances inoubliables. Nos 6 garçons "bien vivants" ont pu s'amuser et rire dans la piscine et sur l'immense terrain à disposition sans déranger aucun voisin. La maison est fraîche. Même l'extérieur est pensé pour avoir des endroits ombrages durant toute la journée. Les petits soucis (manque d'eau chaude a l'étage) ont toujours été réglés de suite. Piscine et jardin entretenu tous les 2 jours et draps et linges changes tous les samedis. Village accueillant, très joli... À conseiller...

The villa is very beautifully located with a big yard with great views and a good sized pool for kids that know swimming. The host was helpful. With no heating the house became quite damp after two days of rain. Warm water ceased to work after a few days, but was fixed within one day.

Maison très mal équipée par rapport à son standing. Très mal entretenue. de petits détails qui peuvent s'avérer génants au quotidien :Cafetière HS, pas de bacs à glaçons, pas assez de ventilateurs (2 pour 5 chambres).....

We had a very nice week here: nice weather, lots of beautiful cities nearby and a lovely house.

abgelegenes, ruhiges und eingezäuntes Haus für 2 Familien; großer Pool mit großer Wiese (sollten beide in kürzeren Abständen gepflegt werden), Zufahrt relativ flach, auch ohne SUV gut erreichbar!

Very nice place. Close to the city so can walk on the morning to get some espresso from the local bar. The house is good with all the things you need for coking.
