The Vecciale villa is a typical stone farmhouse with 4 bedroom and 4 baths situated just a few km from the Natural Park of Cavriglia.
Access to the farmhouse is via a private gravel track through the Chianti landscapes, amongst olive groves, vineyards and woodland.
Our swimming pool with solarium is surrounded by green enjoying stunning views over the countryside below.
A pergola with garden furniture and other relax zones are at your disposal.
La Forra (300 m away) provides services such as tennis court (to share with the guests of La Forra), restaurant, mountain bike hire, horse riding lessons, or accompanied trekking, with FISE instructor.
Florence and San Gimignano are 50 Kms away, Arezzo is 35 Kms away, Siena is 40 Kms away, Cortona, Pienza and Montepulciano are 70 Kms away and are easily reachable.
You can enjoy fresh-water fishing at San Cipriano lake (10 Kms away), Minigolf (10 Kms away) and you can also visit the Botanic rose-garden (6 Kms away).
Distances:
Montegonzi at 200 mts, Cavriglia with all kind of shops at 10 kms.

Kitchen (with oven and dishwasher), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower, 1 bathroom with a bath tub, living room and dining room with open fireplace.

The villa was wonderful and the view from the pool was outstanding. The property manager was very pleasant and helpful. The proximity to the village and neighboring resort made it easy for us to walk to two most wonderful restaurants. The only critisism I have is the walk up to the pool. The pathway is a little rough and could use some lights along it. The path was difficult to walk in the evening. Other than that, the villa and the property was very comfortable and well appointed. Oh...wifi would also be a nice add.

Even though this review is one year late.....we wanted you to know that our stay in vecciale was wonderful. I only rated it good for I save excellent for absolute perfection. I wish you have a very good rating available. house was everything we expected. comfortable and spacious. wish the laundry was better located but loved the outdoor covered patio. need to come back before end of september to enjoy the lovely pool...

Absolutely stunning property, in glorious hill top setting. The house was large, well appointed and very clean and warm when we arrived. It is sited by itself and so very private. The property forms part of an Agritourismo (a group of villas with a special license and usually some form of rural activity - in this case olive groves and horse arena/trekking).
We were welcomed (and assisted) by Franceska throughout our stay. She is very warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home.
If you have kids (or yourself) who like horses it came as a wonderful surprise to us that the property forms part of a 44ha property that boasts a covered arena and a full time horse instructor, Sandro. He was very kind to our kids and they managed several rides/treks during our stay, making them very happy.
