In perspective this rental is a charming, ultra clean unit which is part of a larger building. However, the accessibility of the unit is very misrepresented and other features are not as described. "First floor" would seem to indicated easy access to the unit. In truth it is a long 25 plus stone stairs DOWN followed by two full marble staircases UP before entering the unit (no rails on the final set up stairs. We are two quite active 60-70 year olds (with aging knees) and the challenge of suitcases etc. (we travel light) was not insignificant. Yes, this is a hill town and stairs should be expected but I scoured rental descriptions to get something reasonable in this regard and this missed the mark for me. (The owner lives in the unit below and was helpful with bags--parking is also a major challenge)--but he does not speak English and not the "official" agent.
In addition, we very much wanted WiFi access in the unit and this was not available as advertised (it is in some bars/cafes at the top of those stone stairs, but not the same as in the unit.) Also , there is no tub as advertised. Finally, those with problem backs beware, the bed in master bedroom is very soft.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si
La Piccola Terrazza was absolute perfection. Its location was perfect, tastefully appointed and spotless. Thank you so much, and we will return in the not too distant future.
